Time is Crazy
I woke up this morning and made breakfast, then cleaned up the house. Amazingly, after all that work, it was only 9:30 am when I finished… Funny how time can go so slowly… then other times, it runs past…
I thought I would mention a few of my favorite things that I used today. Although I’m a supporter of chemical-free cleaning, I do use chemicals occasionally.
Mr. Clean MagicReach - a great, easy to use mop/scrubber. It has wonderful manueverability and the pads clean impressively.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - a strange, spongy, foam block that removes nearly anything. It is kind of magic. :-P
Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush - erm, it just cleans the toilet, but in a much more sanitary way than with the normal bristled brush.
Febreze - freshens all the “soft surfaces.” I use it on the carpet, the couch, bed, kitchen and bathroom mats, chairs… It’s great. I use it almost daily.

Hubby’s off from work today and when you have that extra day of rest, its so tempting to live out the day in bed. Actually, we have loads of laundry to do and he has school this evening. I think I’ll ride with him to Philadelphia and roam around the city, stirring up trouble.
i’m a big fan of the magiceraser, especially since it does not require any chemicals to clean. The toilet cleaner, though, disturbs me. I mean do we really need yet *another* disposable item in our throw away society? that trash has to end up somewhere and in the long run all the nasty chemicals etc. come back to hurt us…and our kidlets.
I use vinegar as a rinse agent in the dishwasher and it always gets rid of the gross soap stains on the glasses. I still remember that picture you posted a long time ago of your very clean kitchen. For me, there’s toooo many distractions when i’m cleaning so it gets done so slowly. I drive my neighbors batty when the cleaning bug bites me at 3 am, which is quite often.
