Mach mich nicht an, Ali!   Jan. 5, 2008

Bit of odd news from Germany, Mustafa Akyol shares a new poster being circulated: Sexual Abuse Alla Turca.

Anything that says “Republikanische Jugend” (Republican Youth) can’t be good. Their website says the ad is an “anti-mosque” campaign… Sweet.

(I’m wondering about the translation of the phrase in the poster. Mustafa translates as “don’t abuse me” but I understand it as “don’t mess/flirt/fool around with me” from it. It’s literally “make me not on”. Given the circumstances he talks about between Germans and immigrants, I understand how “abuse me” fits. Either way, I think it expresses a nationalist/racist/anti-Muslim/protect the pretty Weiße Mädchen attitude.)

Zoooo   Jan. 3, 2008

Zoo Visitor Says She Saw Men Taunting Tiger and I believe her. If you go to a zoo (just like if you walk into a jungle or swim in the ocean) you’re basically asking to be mauled.

The zoo was set to reopen Thursday. The tiger enclosure will remain closed indefinitely.

Visitors to the zoo will find a new public alert system and more signs around the facility warning people not to bother the animals.

I’ve got a much better way to not bother the animals: Stop putting them in “enclosures”.

And stop hunting them, eating them, wearing them, trapping them, abusing them, stealing their habitats…

Trailer trash is trailer trash, no matter how much money they have.

So…   Dec. 14, 2007

1. A bunch of Jesus freaks beat the hell out of a Jew. And a Muslim came to his defense. Amazing!

2. A Muhammad freak from Canada strangles his daughter and now it’s proven that Canadians can be stupid, too. The response from both sides has been disgusting. One side says “Ban Islam!” and the other side says “Hijab is a requirement, so parents must convince their daughters of this, or else they’ll both be failures.” What the hell? As I commented on another blog, filicide is not a Muslim practice or invention. Just ask these kids. But people are crazy and hysterical and so “Islam killed Aqsa”.

Oh, indeed, we Muslims hate Jews, the West, women, girls AND Jesus. Every move we make is controlled by Islam. We never, ever “speak out” against atrocities because we really do support terrorism and murder. We are all plotting against you every moment of our lives!

Not.

Various Non-posts   Dec. 13, 2007

1. If there is anyone reading this blog who lives in Virginia’s 6th District, please give your support to Sam Rasoul. (My home in VA is sadly in the 5th disctrict.) When I last visited VA and saw the huge Sam Rasoul signs in Vinton, I said “He must be a Republican, too bad!” After visiting CAIR’s 2008 Elections site, I saw his name again and checked out his website. Amazingly, he’s a Democrat! He’s also pledging half his salary for two new orgs. Good luck Sam!!!

2. In other CAIR news, I forgot to celebrate my one year anniversary working with CAIR-PA. I blame it on item #3.

3. We’re buying a house. OMG? :-|

4. Barack Obama (apparently) didn’t know what Current TV was, when approached by a journalist who recorded a pod for the station. This is important is because AL GORE was a co-founder and the launch of the station was big news. Disappointing… unless he knew but just forgot because of all the campaign running-about. (Video here. Segment starts about 1:01)

5. Current TV also did a spot about the “Saudi rape case” and the reporter said that the Quran commands punishments for drinking alcohol and stoning for adultery. Um. No.

That’s about it for now.

Niqab madness   Dec. 5, 2007

You gotta watch and read this crazy lady’s “experience” with the horrific niqab (for a week!). Her hysterical comments alone are worth the read. It’s a four-part series, amazingly. I hope she at least talks to some “Western women” who have chosen to wear a full covering…

The Abaya Monologues articles

A commenter at HuffPo says: “Note to readers. Crittenden is married to David Frum, former Bush speech writer. She is just another right winger conveniently using oppressed people to drive an agenda. In this case it is the Muslims are coming, the Muslims are coming.”

Err…   Nov. 30, 2007

Is this a $#@!* joke? What the hell? Calls in Sudan for Execution of Briton. Come on, stupid “Muslims”, save your energy for something important… (yeah right.) Still we wonder why so many hate “us”!

Today, I’m giving my pet dogs the middle name Muhammad.

Aww…   Nov. 13, 2007

Seriously, there is really no need for any other news about the world except this: Cat’s daily routine baffles owner

A cat is baffling his owner by wandering off at night before expecting to be collected by car every morning at exactly the same time and place.

Sgt Podge, a Norwegian Forest Cat, disappears from his owner’s home in Talbot Woods, Bournemouth, every night.

The next morning, the 12-year-old cat can always be found in exactly the same place, on a pavement about one and a half miles (2.4km) away.

His owner, Liz Bullard, takes her son to school before collecting Sgt Podge.

WAIT! This is now the best thing on earth: http://lolinator.com/lol/leena.thejaffers.com/.

Global Climate Change and Population Growth: Two Challenges in One

Scientists across the globe agree that the influence of humans and their activities on the earth’s atmosphere and climate is an established fact. If population growth and climate change are closely linked, then they should be integrated into policy and challenged together. Long-term strategies to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions in an equitable manner will need to account for the current broad differences among nations in per capita emissions. Effective, voluntary family planning plus improved educational and economic opportunities for girls and women are a central part of good population policy as well as a key to greenhouse gas reduction.

Danya recently linked to another important article, The Guardian’s “How to save the planet“.

One of the greatest environmental dilemmas is the issue of the world’s rapidly growing population. Many argue very persuasively that we have no hope of confronting all our environmental problems without greatly reducing the number of people on the planet.

I’m doing my tiny part to help balance against “the Duggars” and “Jon & Kate” (those famous “be fruitful and multiply” Christians) in the US and the Daad Muhammeds of the world.
